Mark Wagner

My collage inspiration artist is Mark Wagner. He is an artist that uses currency to make his own unique art, he typically does portraits of people and has a very creative way of doing so. I like how he cuts out pieces of the money to use that are important, and I also like the way he curls and layers the money to capture the fine details of the facial features on his portraits. One thing that I would change about his style to make my project personalized would be to use pieces of old magazines instead of money, I like the way that Mark Wagner layered the money to make his project unique, but I plan on doing that with scraps from newspapers/magazines.
