Limitation choice

My chosen limitation is building something entirely out of toothpicks.

An artist that has used this limitation is Scott Weaver. He builds elaborate wooden structures of San Francisco. Here are images of his work:

Mine could obviously not be this elaborate, but I want to replicate this idea. What draws me to Weaver’s concept is the symmetry and creativity. I think it would be really fun and challenging to build something like this!

The way in which I would use a similar concept is by taking certain structural elements that are reflected in his work and piece them together to create my own sculpture. I especially like the idea of including a bridge.
