(Sorry for the bad photo, I don’t currently have the piece so I needed to use one that my dad took when he was at the gallery lol…)
REFLECTION:
During the critique, I received a few comments on what to change/fix/improve about my piece. However, my partner, Maya, did tell me she liked the shadow picture, which I appreciated. My own reflections on the piece are that I wish I had removed the title (which I really only added to fill the space), and added more pictures. I do like how the photos I included properly display my life at the barn, and how close to home it really is in my heart. The barn is my safe space, so by creating this piece I was happy to reflect on all the good memories I’ve made before moving to college.
