Letters and Numbers

- What did you learn about composition? How did you apply these skills to your piece?
What I learned about composition is how things in art or in an art piece are arranged. I applied these to my pieces by sketching before doing my final piece to know where the letters should go.
- What color harmony did you choose? Why? How does it relate to your work?
I chose thanksgiving colors which are analogous colors. It relates to my work because it’s colorful and fiery.
- What did you learn about colored pencils?
That they need to stay sharpened to have good results in your work.
- What would you change if you worked on a project like this in the future?
I would definitely make my letters bigger so I wouldn’t have to fill in such a big background.
- What was hard? What do you like about your project? What was easy?
What was hard was figuring out which letters would overlap and what colors the spaces in between would be. I like that my project came out exactly how my sketch was which is good. What was easy was thinking of the idea to do my name as my product.
