- How do people contribute to awareness and understanding of their lives and the lives of their communities through art-making? Art can help one express the thoughts in their head that are hard to put into words
- How did you incorporate the elements and principles of the assignment (texture, contrast, and line)? I used squiggly lines to represent wrinkled fabric, I used deep cuts and marks for shadows, and lines to shape objects
- What do you intend for audiences to see, experience, and think about when viewing your work? I want them to feel like they are in my room
- Which are the most successful aspects of your work? the shadows. I felt like those really popped
- What was your inspiration for creating this artwork? My bedroom
- Did you encounter any difficulties when creating your artwork? How did you work through them? The difficult part was cutting out the shadows. I worked through it by being really careful
