How do people contribute to awareness and understanding of their lives and the lives of their communities through art-making?

I believe people contribute to awareness and understanding of their lives and the lives of their communities through art-making by expressing themselves and sort of spreading a message through their work wheter that be about real life problems or just their personal problems.

How did you incorporate the elements and principles of the assignment (texture, contrast, and line)?

I incorporated the elements and principles by combining them and focusing on specifically trying to show that I used them.

What do you intend for audiences to see, experience, and think about when viewing your work?

I think they should see the carving of the lines and detail I put in the work, I hope they can also feel like they are in bora bora too with me.

Which are the most successful aspects of your work?

I would say the carving.

What was your inspiration for creating this artwork?

I just like tropical weather so I picked bora bora because I wanna go there one day and it looks cool.

Did you encounter any difficulties when creating your artwork? How did you work through them?

I think a difficulty I ran into would be making the contrast when peeling the foil so that the ink would stick.

Is there anything about your work that you now think you should have done differently? If so, please explain what and why.

No not really, maybe just try and make it look cleaner and stuff.
