Loss Project

1/2 THROUGH CRITIQUE:

No one really gave me advice except for Mx. Oliveri, but they suggested that I put gold on the mouth cover of my piece, and although I wasn’t really planning on it, I think that it would be nice, so I’ll definitely consider it!!

Right now, I’m pretty much done with my mask, now l need to do is let my piece get to leatherware, and then the next stage (I’m not sure what it’s called but it’s really fragile). Then, after it’s fired I can work on the main part which is glazing.

REFLECTION:

My inspiration for the project was my mental health. I used it for this project because I felt like no one was there for me, but now that I’m leaving bad feelings behind me, it’s sort of a time in my life that I’m no longer in. In this project, my biggest issue was the lack of motivation. I really wanted to work on other assignments, but in the end, I really like the final outcome. My favorite part of this assignment was using the black glaze pencils to draw the tattoos, because I got to be precise and have fun.
