Art Gallery/ Favorite Piece
I chose this piece because as soon as I walked into the room it was the first piece of art that caught my eye. I love the bright colors and the organic shapes as well as the checkered pattern. Another part I think is really cool is the transparency of the painting, where you can see through the colors and look at whats behind parts. This painting makes me happy and in art class I am going to try and recreate it as it is something I would definitely like having of my own. I’m interested in how the process was while creating it as well as what the inspiration was behind it.
