Art show 3/3/23
This was my favorite piece from the show, and it is called Raining City. It was created from oil paints. I really like this painting because it is incredibly detailed even though the shapes aren’t exactly defined. The way the artist depicted the street lights is very realistic. It also stimulates other senses like smell and touch. I can smell the moisture in the air and the city fumes just from looking at this painting. It also gives off the feeling of sadness and the slowing down of time. It is overall just very peaceful and enjoyable to view.
