They have too look at the world in a different way
How did you incorporate the elements and principles of the assignment (texture, contrast, and line)?
I used lines to put texture on the trees. I carved around the trees to create contrast between the tree, whale and the background.
What do you intend for audiences to see, experience, and think about when viewing your work?
i want people to feel that anywhere they are they belong
Which are the most successful aspects of your work?
I think I did well on the texturing and carving on the stencil.
What was your inspiration for creating this artwork?
Nature and my Grandmother.
Did you encounter any difficulties when creating your artwork? How did you work through them?
Inking the paper. I worked through it by adding less ink to the paper and spread it more
Is there anything about your work that you now think you should have done differently? If so, please explain what and why.
I think I should have been more careful inking because I kept ending up will extra ink.
