Final limitations piece

What I used as my prompt was a toothpick sculpture, similar to the work of Scott Weaver. My thought process was to take elements and trends that I saw in his work and create something similar but much less complicated. I am not that happy with my work, because I did not have a lot of time to execute my idea or plan anything. What I would like to change about my process is to take more time during both the planning and building process. My biggest take away from this project was learning how to use a material, because before this I had never built something purely out of small sticks of wood.

The feedback I received during the critique was that my piece reflected the time I had to put into it, which is not always a bad thing.

In future artwork, I would use this feedback to not be so hard on myself and enjoy the process of making art no matter how much time I have to make it.
