Making an Impact Week 1
During Week One in the class Making an Impact Locally, I learned about the events that happened during redlining, the history of Rochester, and much more. One of the topics I found the most disturbing from this week was redlining. What happened was basically they would pay white families to move to the nice/suburban areas of Rochester whilst excluding other races. I also learned a bit more about Mansa Musa and Africa. Overall, after learning all of this in one week I can’t wait for what’s in store for this entire semester.
