Notions of Home Project

My inspiration for this project was to commemorate the memories I had of the house I was born and raised in. Once we moved, the house was demolished so this whole process was very sentimental.

The biggest challenge of this project was trying to get the perspective just right. The photo I was referencing was taken at a weird angle, so it was difficult to draw everything correctly.

This project combined both traditional media and digital rendering, which is always a unique thing to experiment with.

My favorite part of this assignment was adding the colors to it digitally. It was very fun experimenting with different colors to see which ones complimented each other, which ones didn’t, etc.
