Extensions of the Body

I was inspired by the role of the heart in the body and how it symbolizes connection and unification. I think the biggest challenge of this project for me was finishing everything last week so that I could include it in my portfolio. I had to work for many hours after school and my job which was difficult and draining but I am really proud of the way it turned out. This project ties together technological aspects with the lights and I had to figure out how to do new sewing techniques like putting in boning and grommets. My favorite part of this assignment was the outcome and seeing my vision come together.
