Art and Activism

I chose to focus on climate change for the topic of my art and activism project. For my mini poster project, I wanted to convey the idea that the earth is resilient and will go on despite climate change. I think a lot of people don’t realize that we as a species are the ones that will most directly have to deal with the consequences of our own actions. For my larger project I wanted to build on this theme. I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts once, the Anthropocene Reviewed with John Green, and it was discussing the end of the Anthropocene. John Green mentioned that cockroaches would be the last remaining creature at the end of the apocalypse.
