Still Life
The most difficult part of this still life was the fabric since there were so many details to be added. The easiest part of the assignment was the top of the teapot because the reflections were ridged and “easy” to draw. I enjoyed taking progress pictures to see how much I improve each week. I have only made one still life before with charcoal, so I was able to learn more about shadows and highlights. If I made another still life I would try drawing more difficult pieces, such as the chandelier that was in another part of the set-up.
