Summer Work

Art 1. For my free choice, I tried a new type of design by dripping different colors of paint onto a canvas and then using a paint brush, I pushed down and rotated the brush in circular motions to make swirls.
Art 2. For my Self-Portrait, I decided to draw a silhouette of myself with a music playing in my head as for my hidden aspect of myself. I always have a song stuck in my head.
Art 3. For my Still Life, I chose three vases of flowers that I had in my room. I took some creative liberty in the colors I chose as the vases were really more cream colored or white and I wanted a pop of color.
It took me a while to come up with my ideas as to what I would draw and paint for my summer work. The overall process was long and somewhat challenging but I’m proud of the end results.
