Good + Like

I think this art piece’s very beautiful and unique. I chose this piece due to the different style displayed. The artist made the art more 3D style where the top flames are able to stand off the wood in the way they are while still holding the wavy flame-like shape. Also, the wood is colored in a more black and white idea where the flames are all color, making the different parts pop and make them flow together, letting them help express the look of the other. The artist of this piece is Liza Lou.

Bad + Like

This piece looks bad to me, the lines are all wonky and many items in the picture don’t look to real to what their supposed to be, this makes me like it more. They make everything flow as though theirs a wave moving everything. It makes me feel as though the sound waves from the music would be making everything in the picture flow around. The style is one i haven’t seen before but it’s one that is interesting to look at. I do love how the drawing in the art matches the less realistic vibe of the artwork. The artist of this piece is known as Cooper.

Good + Don’t Like

This piece is one of it’s own. I have a style that I have seem but not exactly like this one. While it think it’s a good piece of art, I don’t like it. Looking at the picture with all the different textures and colors makes it hard to look at for too long. It has many different looks or each piece and where if you look at just one piece at a time it’s fine but all together it become hard to focus without being distracting by another thing or color that takes you into another texture. The artist of this piece is Daniel Valero.

Bad + Don’t Like

This piece has creativity, and a unique look to it. I will not lie, for me it looks strange. The people in the photo, their shape being unproportional looks off to me. I feel the design of the people make them look to weird with the texture of the people themselves. The texture of the hair and clothes look unusual for me. The artist of this piece is Joanne Joo.
